Assessing a completed property

You can inspect the unit, building and facilities and discuss actual occupancy. For a tenanted property, request tenancy details, service charges, maintenance needs and factors affecting access or use. Completion does not automatically mean a tenant is in place or income begins on day one.

Assessing an off-plan purchase

Review payment dates, specifications, sale terms and announced timelines, and consider how timing changes could affect your obligations. Dubai REST project-status information can help check the project, progress and escrow details. An escrow account does not remove development risk or replace review of the contract.

The questions that decide the comparison

Set out when you need the property or income, cash required at each stage, the intended holding period, exit options and resale conditions. Compare specific units. Differences between two projects may matter more than the broad completed/off-plan label.

Discuss your timing and budget so we can compare suitable choices.
